I haven't decided if this is all there is or it might grow into something else but it only took a couple of minutes and, hey!, it's me, writing. That just doesn't seem to happen much anymore.
Thanks! I'm glad the dialogue works. It's good to know I still have their *voices* intact in my head. This nonwriting business tends to bother me a bit. So even some little simple piece like this makes me happy to realize I've still got some muses hanging 'round.
Heh. Yes, I committed a fic. Without warning (and even corrected the mistake in the version you received elsewhere). I'm hoping there will be some more ficonies committed as they're back in my head talking again.
And wasn't that a terrific scene? Really some lovely character moments in this ep.

Nice tension here between "I couldn't let her die" and "this is worse than dying".
But lovely (in the show, and here) that Rodney felt the need to apologize and John actually accepted it.
