Thank you for this honest review. I really appreciate it. I think I will look into it as it's far cheaper than what I'm currently doing (working with a personal trainer at home once a week) yet provides me a system to follow on my own.
Thank you so much for your comment! This review of the mutu system is the only post on my blog that gets hits every day (mostly at my blog's new home over at http://alibrarymama.wordpress.com ), but you're the first person to comment on it. I'm so glad to hear my review was helpful for you, and wish you good luck with it! I do regularly go back to these workouts even now, though my routines tend to fall apart whenever I have special projects to do at home.
I would start by reading the Tupler book, which you should be able get from your library or via inter-library loan. Tupler has guidelines for telling if you are ready to do exercise, or if your separation is so big that you need surgery to fix it. If she does think you're OK with exercise, I do use the MuTu system still, rather than the Tupler. But I'd still want to have read the Tupler, especially with major issues, because she spends so much more time talking about things like how to pick up your baby and how to get up and down off the floor without hurting yourself.
