I did say something last time about making a Silver fanvid, and so I have. (Or two, or one and a half, possibly,) Not anything like Dark Waltz at all, though, sorry.
What Have You Learned?Light-hearted Silver tribute to Carbon Leaf. Clips from Assignments 3 & 6 (duh). A bit OT3ish in places, but then, that's Silver for you. (And the lyrics

The short vid is a hoot. Not only was I sucked in, it was all over before I could say what the hell are Adam Faith and Silver and Steel doing together :D

And, it was kind of like that making it...! I swear it made itself. And the song is one of those ridiculously short 1950s thing; I didn't cut out a note or a word anywhere!

Those were delightful. (Of course they were delightful, Silver is delightful :) .) And, I don't know . . . the squirrel in the middle of the road almost kind of made sense.
The second vid should not be watched in a library. Stifling laughter is not exactly easy and is somewhat uncomfortable. ;)
Thanks for sharing!

Apologies for the trouble in the library. What can I say? Also Silver is delightful, yay! (Those are the magic words).
And I'm so pleased that you liked the vids, because I've realised you are the person who made Amor Tenet Omnia, which I think is brilliant and have been watching over & over since I finished the show (and instantly became a worringly insane fan) in the summer. So I love your vid, too - thanks! (It cheered me up no end after Assignment six.)

And I totally know about instantly becoming a worryingly insane fan, since that was exactly what I did summer before last. I'd started watching it because I was trying to find stuff with David Collings (having seen him in a couple of other things) and got totally addicted to the whole thing---the titular characters themselves, the premise, the eeriness, everything to do with being understated (effect of the low budget, of course) and things being unexplained and . . . yeah. You'll know all about that sort of thing, of course. ;D

Also, YES. Even down to watching it because I was looking for stuff with David Collings in! (We are among the select few who came for the wrong David.) Also, I was ill and nothing to distract me from it - my instant fannishness was a bit scary. I'm surprised my flist didn't run away at that point.
