This is based heavily on Lefaym's timeline here and Lorannah's timeline here, with my own compromises between them and some added information from more recent episodes and supplemental material, as well as the Tardis Wiki and Melina123's timeline here. I'm working on the concurrent timeline theory, which means a lot (but not all) of the printed dates we see I'm going to

This is my personal canon, so everyone else can ignore it:

[Feb 2000: Kat is sent down from Torchwood 1, partly to help Jack, partly to keep an eye on him.]
[Mar/Apr 2000: Jack's first medic arrives, also from T1.]
[May 2000: Jack recruits ZCM, but she doesn't actually start yet.]
[Sept 2000: ZCM finishes her training at T1 and arrives in Cardiff.]
[Late 2001: Jack recruits Suzie.]
[2002: Kat gets herself and ZCM killed; Jack breaks ties with T1.]
[2003: Yvonne Hartmann takes over Torchwood 1.]
[Early 2004: Unnamed medic dies or transfers back to T1.]
[Early 2004: Ruffcut virus attack; what was it a UNIT coverup for?]
