it's been a while ....
for all my gamer friends: winter war 35 will be held february 8-10 2008 at the hawthorn suites in champaign. right now I planning on taking that saturday off work to spend at the con. if something amazing is happening either the friday or the sunday, I might take that day off too/instead

I don't know if you've been reading my blog, but I'm going to be back in the US Dec 24-Jan 5. I don't know what your holiday plans are, but would you be interested in going to Chicago around New Years (you probably have plans for New Years Eve so maybe the day before or after?)? You could come visit me in Ann Arbor too, but it's probably too far to go in the winter. I know I'm not going to drive to Urbana. But Chicago is a good midway point. I think the trains are set up so you could spend a day in Chicago, or maybe we could find a place to overnight. I might possibly see Helen and Emilia in the city too, but they haven't made any plans.
