I recently went through and read Prime's Rib. Hot Rod's got the hots for her from pretty much the start, but he really doesn't seem to get how being 'female' makes her different from any other Transformer ("She's just a fellow warrior, isn't she?" A attitude towards females that I, as a female, approve of!).

Especially a Cybertronian - they're very much into tweaking themselves to fit their local environment.
I'm surprised that more Transformers on Earth didn't start identifying with assorted national and cultural groups. Although there were a variety of accents among the Autobots, if I recall correctly.
