Yet Another Question to AniManga Fans

I made this post weeks ago. It's about the types of female characters in the AniManga universe that I hate. It took a while to organize, but listing them down wasn't that difficult because there are so many female characters I dislike, most of them are from shoujo and shounen.... and I was reading a lot of crappy shoujo before making that post.

I don't like any *type* overall. I might like one character who belongs to a certain 'stereotype' and not another who seems similar on the surface. I am pretty whimsical in that way. :D

But my favourite girls in ani manga are Michele Volban in Garasu No Kantai (who I think is very real, very three dimensional) and Iku in Shigurui. :) In Naruto, I have always been fond of Tsunade, even though I think she's a rubbish hokage (as a medical historian, I gotta love the medics! So weird how people perceive it as a weak character type! >,o).

TSUNADE!!!! I love her xD I don't like medicinal stuff but I'm fond of medic peeps in fiction xD and no, medics are not weaklings... I hate that wrong impression/presumption =_=

Well, for one, she has to be independent. Not like those girls who always wait for their princes to come and save them. (A good example for this is Shirayuki from Akagami no Shirayukihime. I ♥ her so much. :3) And they've gotta be determined on something.

Crazy, strong, and/or out-of-the-box characters are also loved! (Narita's characters are obviously a reference here. Just look at them -- Celty, Chane, Miria, Namie, Erika, Vorona, Mairu, Mika... wait, I think all of his female characters are either batshit crazy, strong, or out of the ordinary. xD)

Hmm, you could say that in the end, I like girl characters who don't always think about their love lives and only their love lives.

I wanted to include DRRR!! women as one of the series wherein I love all female characters... but I remembered stalker girl... no, can't stand her.

Mmmh let's think.

-The Dark Side : you know the kind of character who is deadly annoying when you finally discover she has a very dark side of her. You know like Ada from Pandora Hearts, the annoying little sister who seems useless but who in fact developed an interest for anything occult and torture.
- The Unexpected : the kind who never react how you think she will. That comes from my love of surprises in mangas. Guess Miria would totally fit here.
- The Twisted : see like Erika and her torture ideas for example.

That's all I can think about ^^

Hmmm I can't really say that I like a certain type either, and it's easier for me to list types I don't like xD

But you're definitely right about the Hetalia and Narita-sensei girls. They are so awesome hahaha I think two of my favorite girl characters are Teru from Dengegki Daisy and Adachi Hana from Yankee-kun to Megane-chan haha the really goofy but can be serious when it comes to it. Really stick up for their friends and care about them lots :D
