Usually, you'd have to pay for virtual gifts, but the snowflake cookies are free.

As for the e-mail alerts, they've been having issues with the notifications, recently. I can't quite remember why, but I think it might be related to the mass cookie-giving. XD

Well you can find the "Send V-Gift" link in your profile bur for send a V-Gift you must pay,instead the Snowflake Cookies were free!

Oh,and don't worry!It's LJ that have some problem with the notifications!-.-'

LJ put [or was a failure of its system] the snowflake for free at v-gift shop. It was listed here. You just had to select it as if you were buying it [and you really were, but once it cost $ 0.00...] and finish the purchase.

Legion movie? Is it the name of a upcoming movie? What is the cast?

Are you scanlating Izayakaku with a group or just b1px and yourself? I wanted to suggest this to The Black Abyss because but I didn't want to step on anyone's toes. =) I love the 2 chapters that you have so graciously helped in scanlating and I would love more. ^^
