They might make a movie or something, like Gundam Seed will have a movie. But it seems a pretty definitive end.

I wish they do make a movie . . . and make it good. Bias me wants it as a sequel . . . but a summary isn't that bad . . . there'll surely be some changes in some parts . . . .I wanna see new stuff xD

Personally, I find it amazing that they left the ending just ambiguous enough for everyone to believe what they want to believe. :)

I am absolutely convinced he's alive, of course. :)

I'm not going to go and refute every single concept, but-- As far as Suzaku and C.C. crying when the act was done-- It is possible that maybe even Lelouch wasn't aware that the code was transmitted to him?

Because if so, man, he was a huge jackass for confining Suzaku to a fate of repentance while he gets off scot-free, and... With the way he developed in the series, I highly doubt that was his aim.

But... To each their own, of course :D

Or it's possible that they're crying because they'll never see him again in terms of him having to hide from the world after his "assassination".

Suzaku is his best friend, and C.C. and LeLouch had a thing going, so they would still cry even when they know he's alive. In a sense, it would be like he's dying because he's going to have to stay away from them.

In the end, Geass is back to hiding from the world if you think about it. But at least LeLouch and C.C. can maintain contact.

It is possible that maybe even Lelouch wasn't aware that the code was transmitted to him?<--- I see that as a possibility. But I think C.C. could have been aware of it if he didn't (she would know the "symptoms" for sure, right? xD) or they made the idea "lelouch have a code" more obvious before turn 25. *sigh*

I think it's much more probable that he is ALIVE, and immortal, there are countless hints towards this. I mean the biggest hint would have to be Nunally's vision thinga-ma-bob, and also the final episode of R1 with the whole "You're not alone" and "I just need to become a warlock".

Yes they could have shown his face at the end, but they rather leave it to us to speculate, which I think makes for a much more interesting ending.

Personally I think that he is alive and well, and I'm satisfied with my R.R (Lelouch) x C.C ending. Although I really wish I knew her true name.
