Hello! Just wanted to say that I was the same as you about Bokura ga Ita, this anime was okay but I don't think it's "one of the best romances in anime history" and again as you the leading lady kinda gets on my nerves and that's probably why I didn't watch it till the end lol
I would recommend you "Rose of Versailles" this IS "one the best romances in anime history" IMO! First I was a bit reluctant because it's really an old anime released in 1979 (you know too many sparkles, old animation etc... lol) BUT the story is really GREAT and the leading lady is simply WONDERFUL!! If you are interested you can watch all episodes on Crunchyroll (and a lot of others animes!) : http://www.crunchyroll.com/group/CRSeries_-_Rose_of_Versailles
yeah, it doesn't seem to be as great as many people say it is. But I'll give it a few more episodes before I give a final opinion xD
Rose of Versailles? I've heard of that. But I don't know much about it. Well, since we seem to have similar tastes, very likely that I will love it too ^_^
bud sadly . . .crunchyroll hates me x_x until now it doesn't e-mail me the activation thingy no matter how many times I try to activate it again -_-
off-topic: oh I lvoe your C.C. icon *_* so adorable xD
That's too bad :( crunchyroll is a great site (lots of animes and dramas^^), but I think you still can watch animes even if you are not logged (not sure but you can watch 5 episodes in row per day/or hour, I dont know exactly how much time you must wait between sessions);)
About Rose of Versailles like I said it's really old so I don't know if you'll like it. I have a freind who tried to watch it and even if she thought that the plot was very intersting she didn't watch it till the end because of the old animation (too bad because I think that the second part of the anime ep 25 to 40 was the best, more mature and heartbreaking!). Personnaly I loved RoV, the story was so great that I tried to not focused too much on the animation/graphism and I don't regret to have give a chance to this anime^^
PS: thanks! yeah CC is so cute in that icon^^ (made by Usami Haru ;))

I'm alright with old anime. As long as it's good, I can understand old art style. ^_^
