that was amazing, the way you have the Doctor's emotions seeping into Amy without her knowing why ... and his compulsive painting of Rose, his terrible pain at not knowing how he lost her.... Woe!!

My headcanon tells me that his regeneration helped to scar over the loss of Rose. But then going human tore it open again. How brilliant of you and how very sad!!

I feel like this would have happened after Rory was swallowed by the crack, so in a way its only a matter of time before Amy starts to fall apart, even if she doesn't know why. And I just love the idea of the Doctor post JE being in a Smith!state and finding himself returning again to thoughts of Rose.

I feel like the regeneration definitely helped to scar over all of his residual angst, but that sort of hurt doesn't just go away either and it was fun to explore it through the idea of the Chameleon Arch. Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to review :3

Thank you. I absolutely believe that Eleven is a lot better at dealing with the losses from his Tenth incarnation after his regen but when his guard comes down you can see hints of the pain even now and it absolutely fascinates me. Thank you so much! xx

Awww. This is the perfect kind of Eleven/Rose fic. I don't love the idea of the two of them actually as a ship, but I do like to think that Eleven still has feelings for her. I mean, he's the same man!

I ship basically any Doctor/Rose tbh :P but I like to think that although Eleven might not overtly still in love with her that yes, he does think about her and has feelings for her.
