I had the same thought about the statues! I was like, "They don't have eyes!" and then Eleven was like, "Why don't they have two heads," and I was like, "Ohhhhhhh."

I admit that I didn't think of "The Stone Rose" while he was wandering around THE MAZE OF THE DEAD, but that would have been a cute little reference!

IKR. Amy is completely batshit and I love her for it. She's so upfront in her interactions with him and it's awesome. I also loved her very pointed "explain plz!" when they dropped River off at the beginning :D

I am such a ditz, I totally thought the epiphany that River and Eleven had about the statues was going to be "NONE OF THEM HAVE FACES" and then they're all "THESE PEOPLE HAD TWO HEADS AND THE STATUES DON'T" and I was all "...oh. Right. D: I am made of fail..." :P
LOLOL, the idea of the two heads didn't even come to me either, I thought just like EGT "OOOH, they don't have eyes!" especially since there was stuff about eyes in the ep before, like Amy crying with stone dust or eyes of Weeping Angels being a door...
