Claire put her arms around his neck in turn and squeezed tight. Never before had she felt such a strong, inexplicable need to hold onto somebody and not let go. She knew from personal experience that it was much easier to just let go, to give up on them. But she knew beyond all doubt now - she didn’t want to give up on Charlie.
You write excellent romance, girl. Claire's devotion to Charlie in your stories is great compensation for all our losses and disappointments. THIS is a perfect example of Charlie/Claire getting through this together. The show is not.
Can't wait for more. OMG Claire is swimming down to the Looking Glass with Charlie! This should be intense...
That's funny you should say that because I'm rather an unromantic sod in real life =P these two have always had the ability to make me squee my little head off though - I can't watch the peanut butter scene in Confidence Man without squealing, it's quite embarrassing really.

Well Claire had her bad timing with blurting out that she loved him earlier so now it was Charlie's turn - bless him.
Jack is an asshat. As are the rest of the survivors. I actually had an idea for a follow on from this story but it depends on how the fourth season pans out because again I'd like to continue manipulating the canon to my own new 'verse like I've done in this.
Speaking of manipulating canon...! For this I've basically taken canon and wreaked havoc with it by adding Claire - but most of the basic elements have stayed very similar. So will we see Bonnie and Greta? Perhaps XD you'll just have to wait till the next part won't you?
Aw, that ending is so sweet! I liked how you kept some of the events and dialogue exactly the same yet there were slight differences because of Claire's presense. How lovely! It's so pleasing to see her fighting for her man =]
Taking canon and putting extra characers into situations is a lot more fun than I thought it would be to be honest! I'm glad you're still enjoying it ^_^
I feel bad for Des - he didn't want to vote for him but he felt he had to because he knows that Charlie's the only one who can do it. I don't feel bad for Jack - he's just an asshat as far as I'm concerned.
