It has been two years since my grandmother passed away. I miss her so though I know she is in a far better place now then she was in her last days with us. I often reflect on her life and wish that I would have listened more to her stories of growing up. She witnessed a lot in her life, both good and bad, but always grew stronger for it. I wish I ( Read more... )

Good luck with the house. I can't picture it from this drawing but I look forward to seeing more drawings as time passes.

Sounds like you and your friends had a great time. Those times are always precious.

Thanks Carolyn! I'm getting excited/nervous about the house but at least it is starting to become reality. And you will see lots of pics as it goes up.

What would we do in life without friends? They are the best! *HUGS*

You're building a new house?!! That's great, Jill! OMG we're grown ups now, aren't we? Buying new homes and all that... signals impending middle-age. But what are you going to do, no other alternative but to embrace it. At least we'll be getting older in fabulous surroundings that belong to us, right?

I don't know why I'm saying "us", cause I'm not buying a home yet, but I feel like it's coming soon. Once I figure out where I want to settle down. Good luck with everything!

PS the eyefuck at the end of 307? Possibly the hottest moment ever, and they're nowhere near each other! LOVE IT.

I cannot believe that I bought a house Lucie! It is crazy. And yes I suppose that we are grown ups, if we want to or not. (NO NO Middle Age! EEEK! LOL ;)) Though I've heard that the 30s are great, I hope so. And I'm sure you'll find a great place to buy once you find your city. I'm so excited for you going to Boston! When do you leave?

OMG 307! *fans self* Indeed how do they do that when they are not near each other? WOW!

We're moving into our apartment on Sept. 7th, which is coming up REEEEALLY soon. It's almost snuck up on me, you know? Last night was finally my last night at work, which was a little surreal and makes it all seem like it's all really about to happen!
