my exam

Yeah, my final exam for Ballads and Folksongs was a 4-6 page essay explaining why someone is not a folk artist or why a song is not a folksong. I chose to do Britney Spears bekause everyone's like, "Duh, of COURSE she's not folk" and I just wanted to elaborate and make the exakt points supporting why she is not. Of kourse, this is just a roundabout way of showing that we understand how to determine folkness of something...Minton's so klever. :)

Man...that rehearsal did suck. I'm glad he didn't waste anymore of his time yelling, because the effort in there was -10% by most of us.
