Last night I watched Wolf. It's a movie I've wanted to see for a while and I finally got around to it. I'm glad I did. It seemed like the first time in quite a while that a movie didn't see fit to beat me about the head with every little aspect of its plot. It's so nice when a movie lets you figure a few things out for yourself.

I think Wolf is one of the better werewolf films out there. It's rather underappreciated, probably because so little seems to happen in it, but Jame Spader has a fun time chewing up the scenery near the end, and watching Jack Nicholson start to act all tough and mean and piss on Spader's shoes is just great. Who cares that they never really turn into wolves (until the end, I guess). Great film. Most horror lovers hate it, so it's nice to see I'm not alone in my admiration of it. I haven't watched it in years...
