Ninjas like pie, too: a Review, of sorts

I've found a new favorite show. It's called The Backyardigans. Yes, it's a kids' show. It's about 5 preschoolers. Tyrone is a moose, Austin is a kangaroo, Tasha is a hippo, Uniqua is a bug, and Pablo is a penguin. They all live in houses next to each other, and play together in their back yards. What you seem to be wanting is to watch this show, or any tv, but rather, you want unstructured, unorganized, creative play.
That's hard to come by at our age... we have role playing games but they are saturated by rules. Most adults have a hard time sustaining creative play...they have to have a plan, or rules, or both. At least a GOAL... but I can understand missing that...random plots thought up on the spot, ah, fun.

I just thought it was a cute show. The songs were catchy. We watched a bunch of other ones, and none of them really appealed to me as much as the pie one. Plus it has a penguin.
