C. S. Lewis is one of my favorite authors...and yesterday I finally finished his The Four Loves. As would be expected from a Lewis book, it was very good...and full of such jewels of quotes that a word-lover like me enjoys greatly!  I thought I'd share some of my favorites with you all...

Hey Jessica,
It's been a while since we talked, since I had to do that friends cut. I wanted to ask you if you minded me friending you again, as I now have a laptop to use in bed and can keep up with you better? I miss your posts, they are always uplifting and thoughtful.
How are you? Talk to you soon and have a delightful day!! :hugs:

Hello Vanessa! Thanks for your comment...it was really good to hear from you! You can most definitely friend me again... That's wonderful that you are encouraged by my posts...that encourages me! =) But I must warn you...I've been really busy this past year so my blog posts have been somewhat few and far between...but you can still most certainly friend me again.

I'm doing okay...I'm exhausted right now and very ready for our spring break that starts on Friday. How are you doing?

Whether or not you celebrate it tomorrow, we can always celebrate what Jesus has done for us.

Happy Resurrection Day! "He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you" (Matt. 28:6-7)

And here we have hope for the future, as Jesus Christ died for our sins and we can find forgiveness through Him.

Have a blessed Resurrection Day, rejoicing in what Jesus Christ has done for you. :)

Have a great day!

Hello Anna...

Thanks so much for the comment...it was great to hear from you! And thanks too for saying that you missed reading my thoughts...that's encouraging! =) Things are going okay for me right now...as you've gathered, I've been quite busy. How are things with you? You graduate this year, right? Do you know what your plans are for after you graduate? How is teaching going?

Have a glorious day!

Things are going well but busy. Yes, I graduate highschool this year - it's so surreal! Where has the time gone? :-) I've had a hard time deciding what to do after graduation... I wanted to stay home and continue teaching, but my dad and siblings really wanted me to go to college. So, I've decided to honor his wishes, and plan to attend Belhaven College. I'll probably major in theater ministry, and take dance classes as much as I can.

Teaching is going really well! I so enjoy it, and my students are doing great! It will be really hard to leave them this fall!

Glad to hear that your last year of high school is going well...and even though I understand wanting to stay at home, that will be exciting to go to Belhaven as well...they have such a beautiful campus! What made you decide to major in theater as opposed to dance?
