Ramblings on cookbooks

One thing that I really missed at Bible college is cooking. I’ve grown to love cooking in the past couple of years and making a box of Annie’s Mac and Cheese on Sunday nights just doesn’t cut it! Yes, I missed cooking when I was at camp as well! We have a "Lofgren Favorites" cookbook that we type in and print off recipes that are tried and true. I try to organize it somewhat, but I'm constantly getting behind in typing in everything! I also use an old Betty Crocker book that was my mom's when she first married, and one called "Setpoint" that has a lot of good, yet healthy, recipes. Then, I find ones online as well...

I like to cook! =)

And isn't wonderful to actually know how to cook well?! It's sad...so many girls nowadays don't even know how to cook at all...

I love to read cookbooks as well! It is one of my favorite past-times. I am so excited that I now have a kitchen! When are you moving back to Bible college? Miss you!

Hello Sarah! Thanks for the comment...it was so good to hear from you! And it's nice to find yet another girl who likes reading cookbooks...what are some of your favorites?

I move back to Bible college in about three and a half weeks...I'm very excited! When do you start back to school? How has your summer been going? I hope you're doing well...hopefully we can chat sometime soon!
