Your writing is absolutely amazing. I love the words you use to describe the actions and . . . I can't think of a word, but I guess color? If that makes sense. Then there's the way you let us know William's situation, feelings and life style. I don't like thinking of Mike (Carden?) and Tom (Conrad?) as bad people. I'm loving Gabe's family and I hope to get to learn more about them.
With that . . . on to part 2!
