I am currently quite focused on the new book, so I will not be shooting for a little while. I would be more than happy to speak with you about working together then.

Thank you! I am hoping to hit Houston at some point, as well. Perhaps in the spring- can you suggest any big events?

Actually we do not do much out here in the spring.. there is the fetish ball that Dare Wear throws going on next month and in february we always have a Gothic Beauty Pageant "My Bloody Valentine" which is probably your best bet. I will keep you posted if something else comes up =)

Heya, random third parties keep indicating you want to do something with Blue Blood. Came across your LJ linked from someone on my friends list and thought I would drop you a line directly. We couldn't publish your work when you submitted it to the print mag years ago because of your underage stuff and it mostly being reprints. We still require that models be over 18 and that we have proof of age on file. Just a regular drivers license and social security card are fine to copy for this. Online we are less limited by things like page count, so I can accept reprints now if they fit our format.

As far as having you do the sort of Blue Blood event you'd like to do, you would need to first be an official Blue Blood photographer. These are not hard and fast requirements, but generally you'd need to have us accept 10 photo sets or thereabouts from you first. Basically, I am primarily buying outside photographic work which meets the following criteria: high quality photography, extremely attractive by Blue Blood standards model, some ( ... )

Dear Amelia,
Thank you for writing. I am not sure what random third parties you are speaking of, but I do recall speaking with you years ago about having some of my images in Blue Blood magazine. At the time, you or whomever I was corresponding with told me that my images were too graphic for your audience, which I completely understood. As far as my "underage stuff", with the exception of one photograph entitled "Prisoners of Our Childhood", which is of a fully clothed 9 year old, ALL of my models are 18+ and, of course, I have full documentation of their proof of age. I do not shoot "underage stuff".
I appreciate your interest. Please keep in touch.
Be well,
John
