I liked this - tender and boyish and bittersweet. And this exchange especially:

"Are you asleep?" Fuji asks after minutes have passed.

"No," Yuuta says, his voice scratchy and low.

"Do you want to hang up?" Fuji asks. There's a pause.

"No," Yuuta says, finally.

So great. I loved reading this, especially characterisation-wise. Excellent job. :D

It's been ages since I've read such a lovely Fujicest piece. The mood of this fic was perfect for their relationship--never wholly comfortable, too many things not said/not been able to be said...

Their phone conversations were the best parts. They were so enjoyable to read and visualize, and you hit both their characters bang-on with their words.
