it's a fic that has written parts of itself inside my head......xD

did I ever tell you about the historical!au onho I've been working on? (see, it was supposed to be done around the time of your birthday, but then it got put off again and again lol.) I posted a cut of that on tumblr, so I wanted to draw something from later in the story to tease for it. but instead this came out. so now I've admitted to the "existence" of yet another fic that won't be showing up on LJ any time soon. :x

I think I might have told you at some point during our two years of conversation that I sometimes dream things that could be written into a fantasy novel? xD so my one brush with the fantasy genre comes from an early (and quickly aborted) attempt to turn one such dream into something. it was a post-apocalyptic subterranean highly hierarchical "utopia" where people live a series of giant hemispheric caverns that are technologically advanced enough to mimick surface life. ofc they've locked some of their fellow humans out of the utopia to deal with the "monsters" (one type is called death's groom, I remember that very clearly from the dream) that have taken over. the utopia doesn't stay safe though. and the protagonists have...powers? to fight and eventually unify the world. or something. ...sounds kinda embarrassing lol ( ... )

hi! no I remember you. sorry I abandoned weibo. :x I tend to do that to social networking sites...a lot...... and yes it's been a long time. I was internet-less in december, as you may recall, and then this past semester has been super busy. in april I had no life and was spending easily ten, twelve hours at work.

BUT. but I've finished my exams. and successfully passed my grad oral exam for this year. so this is the first weekend where I don't have an immediate deadline coming up! (๑>ᴗ<๑) hence I'm on LJ. going to try finish up some of the half-chapters of stories that I have lying around.

how have you been?

pretty good. still have a few finals to go before the semester officially ends. but i'm going to korea on wednesday!!!!!!!!! i'll be seeing Bonnie & Clyde. haha (though i wont be able to understand a word).

so life and school are all happening at a good pace for you? how's the weather down there? I've been grumbling about overcast skies and rain but some of my friends recently experienced snow. x__x

well that's always exciting, even if there is a language barrier! how long will you be staying in korea? is it a personal vacation thing or are you doing something there for the summer?
