a direct inspiration for both The Lost Room and Tin Man? I can't believe I never saw it in the art-cinema frenzy of the early '80s in Dallas and Houston. It definitely sounds like something I need to see.

I've never seen either of those, but the imdb summary of Lost Room sounded pretty neato. Good stuff?

kept me watching pretty steadily but didn't make me care all that much for some reason. Tin Man I saw most of yesterday and it was good enough that I intend to go back and watch the part that I taped while we were out, and review some of the critical parts I wasn't paying enough attention to because I was working. It's by the creators of Firefly, and it's a really nice story of redemption.

Ooh, Stalker to go along with 400 Blows? That's some nice movie watching there. I love the ambiguity of Stalker. The grimy Russian locations mixed with the grimy Russians brooding the fuck all over the place.

And 400 Blows has some odd scenes here and there, but the ending is just perfect. I still haven't seen the "sequel" though.
