So there is this site, by the same people who are responsible for Threadless, only this one is for non-tshirt textiles and wallpaper. My enjoyment of this idea outstrips my ability to participate, but I tried anyhow:

It's my guess that the site is non-weird mostly due to the difficulty in creating a successful pattern that isn't subdued. Of course that could just be my own aesthetic preferences talking since I'm not a big fan of repeating patterns in general.

But that doesn't mean I would like to see a cool beetle design anyhow. ;)

Whatcha mean, subdued? Color-wise? Contrast? There're some pretty high-contrast ones on there...
