I took the standard one about three years ago - dunno how much they've changed it since then. I don't recall doing any practice at all for it. The free CD they send with the registration materials (windows-only, iirc) should be useful for getting familiar with the computer testing format, if that sort of thing is important to you.

Hm, but you did it right out of school, right? I suspect I am somewhat more rusty than that.

I haven't taken in since 99 or 2000, and it's changed since. However, sanguinity has just been hired to teach GRE prep classes. I'm sure she'd be happy to help.

(I know her from Reed, she bought wasta's bed years ago, etc.)
