Fantastic update, the two of them seem to be getting on better, Jensen is very understanding of Jared's position. And it was good to see jared not act like a bull in a china shop, raging at everything Jensen said or did. Is Jared's dad, Gerald, going to make waves?? What's going to happen next? More soon. I'm so glad Jensen didn't take Jared up on his offer - I think it's important that they both really want it before doing it.

I'm curious to see how Alpha Romanowsky knows so much about Jared and his family. Maybe Jared's family is higher up in the pack than he realised?

SPOILER TYPE QUESTION

Ok, first, I've only been skimming the story while saving each section so I can read it all at once when it's complete. (I'm anal that way) hush. I don't mean *that* way. maybe.

So you might have actually mentioned this somewhere and I missed it, but I read this chapter and had to ask: Jensen's beta died in childbirth, didn't she? It makes sense and neatly explains the problem Jensen has with talking about her. That's my $.02 take on the situation.

Even if my speculation is wrong? You've got an intriguing and interesting story here and I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends.

Although, imho, Jared just needs to chill a bit more. That pride of his is going to be his downfall. And Jensen needs to stop with the secrets and come clean. Of course, if they did that, the story would be over. ;-)

And as far as your question is concerned, no; I ne'er mentioned Jensen's beta having died in childbirth. So, you're safe(from spoilers)....for now.
As far as what the boys need to do to set their life straight- I agree whole-heartedly. Lets hope they gain some sense; sooner rather than later.
