fraser_vecchio Ficathon entry!

There are days when being a cop is the best job in the whole world. You are protecting the innocent, doing a good thing, keeping the bad guys off the street, ect. It is on those days that I can tolerate sappy movies like “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”. When Smith stands up at the end and blasts the machine for corruption, I can see myself doing the ( Read more... )

Your Welsh is so very Welsh-like. He does say things like, "this I do not deny," in the show, and not many fiction writers use that. You did. ^^

Ooo interesting to have it seen through the eyes of a third party. Makes an interesting change. And it is the little things that tip you off.

And Welsh too.

Nice :-)

Thank you very much! I always love others perspectives on relationships, and this was an idea that had been rattling around in the back of my brain for a while (originally as a Turnbull/Thatcher fic, but that was too cracky even for me!) I am just so happy that it worked for you!

This is such an interesting idea - not just a third party (which I love in fics), but also a whole new character. You make Wilson stand out (and us care about him) while also giving us glimpses and moments with the characters we already know and love. Very nice, and I love the way Ray and Fraser's interaction makes Wilson think of his own relationship.

I am so happy that the new character worked for you! I was trying so hard to have it from Huey's POV, and I just couldn't do it. That man has the hardest voice I have ever tried to work with! But yeah, I am such a sap for reconciliation stories, so he had to get back with his wife at the end - my inner hopeless romantic wouldn't let me do it any other way!

This was wonderful! I loved seeing Benny and Ray's relationship through the eyes of someone who didn't really know them.

And that last image of Ray snuggled up next to Benny in his hospital bed was so perfect! Heart warming and heart tugging at the same time.

And on an un-realated note, I love your icon!!

Yay! Now I can stop worrying, because seriously, the only thing that matters in a fic exchange is if the recipiant liked it and you did! This makes me so happy! :-D

And on an un-realated note, I love your icon!! I know, sdwolfpup is just so talented! Have you ever checked out her vids? I seriously have a minor fanish crush on her just because of her vids! (And, ya know, she writes really well too. But the vids!)

Excellent story! I'm always a sucker for someone outside the Benny/Ray relationship narrating things, and Wilson is a good character. I wouldn't mind seeing him again!
