This is so great! I really like how you portray Ray and his relationship with Walt - his hesitancy is understandable and at the same time the whole situation is forcing him to make huge decisions really early in the relationship. Your writing is very real and has a great spatial awareness to it - I always knew where the characters were in the physical space and in relation to one another.

Forgive the ramble, I just really like this story, it transformed a really bad night and morning into something much more bearable.! I bookmarked it awhile ago and I'm not sure where I found it, actually, your masterlist says it wasn't posted to the gk comm, but I'm glad I did! I hope you continue :-)
