It takes advantage of most Americans' ignorance of the economics of trade, especially when politicians demonize corporations for outsourcing or other countries for "unfair" competition.

I hope China wins its case at the WTO.

Some would say that the exterior ugliness is reflective of unpalatably xenophobic/racist rhetoric and policy, but I do not think that this cohort
is any less attractive that your average group of politicians.  You know, old and crusty.  Even the women tend to be below average in terms of attractiveness.
