Mail order brides

 The other day I saw a documentary about American men procuring wives from other countries, namely the Ukraine and Russia.

Fine.  I'm all about international relations in all senses, and these kinds of exchanges can be productive.

However, what was dismaying was that both the men of America and the women of Russia/Ukraine could not resist

I don't have a lot of good to say about Eastern European men in general, myself, hahaha!

It was on WE tv, and to be fair, it was actually a rather balanced representation of the practice. The documentary featured a few very happy couples who met through this particular 'mail order bride' business, including a Russian woman who now works for the business as a liaison between the U.S. and Russian women.
