There are many wildfires around me right now. It seriously bums me out. People who are all OMG WE NEED FIREWORKS ON THE 4TH just don't get it. The only fireworks I need is in the form of one of those firecracker popcicles! Best picture from the road race
I didn't take this awesome picture, unfortunately. A racer couldn't finish the road race today because she was beat (it was super hot and dusty) and she hitched a ride back to the start/finish with one of the HP dudes helping us! The racer was ok, I think this was just her first Dead Dog and it's pretty intense.

Race Week
We're getting close to the Dead Dog Classic. Registration for racers closes tonight at midnight (we have almost 300 registered racers right now! Holy shit ( Read more... ) -
Doyle Day!
This year's festivities have been a bit subdued because we are all busy as hell!
But I started the day with instant coffee, we played some Scrabble, I put on a hat, drank Budweiser, watered the lawn, and thought about all the great stories about my dad. :)
