really? say it ain't so? i'm always sort of depressed/angry when i hear good songs turned into commercials so whatever crappy brand or product is forever associated with them. depressed... and angry, some horrible wonderful combined emotion that i shall dub deprangry! i'm deprangry!!

haha see, i feel you on the tv thing except i serve a greater master... the mighty and terrible mxo, which beckons me even when i'm sitting in front of the tv. it beckons me even now! but i shall resist. yes.

and yes, i hate when that happens too. and then people go around thinking 'oh that's just that SPRITE SONG.' blasphemy!

i watch more tv at work than i do when i'm at home, haha. the only time i ever watch tv here is a) if i'm REALLY bored (which rarely happens), b) i'm sick, or c) i'm doing algebra study problems. cuz for some reason, having the tv on in the background is comforting. :P

dude, what's worse is *i* start thinking "oh, sprite" whenever i hear the song. damn you, advertisers, get out of my brraaaaain!

hehe, i wish i could watch tv at work. actually i wish i could play mxo at work. that would rock my socks. i wish i could be paid to play mxo. yea. there we go. heheh.

having the tv on would totally distract the bejeezus out of me if i were trying to use my brain :o

I have a pretty negative view of the guy based on (a) his Crazed 12th-Year Grad Student With Verbal Diarrhea writing style and (b) his refusal to give up the decks when his set was over at an ambient show I was at years ago, which basically shut down the whole shit.

Maybe I just don't like any verbose pseudo-intellectuals who are not me.

well, actually i dunno. i know nothing about how SOE handled its other MMOs so maybe everything will turn out for the best, if this indeed not just a rumor. if it is true i mainly feel bad for all the monolith people who are getting laid off. that blows.
