(In which there is a trap.)

It was a trap. Interceptor knew it was a trap. And it was a trap meant to catch mechs just like Interceptor. Mechs who were working to bring the Senate down from the inside and root out the corruption rife among the government. But it was a trap that Interceptor had to spring.

His enemies had chosen their bait well. Interceptor could not - would not - allow the younglings of his kin to be abused any longer. He would not leave Seeker sparklings in the hands of the amoral monsters employed and empowered by the Council of Elders.

The information leak - deliberate or not - was verified and true. The Senate, in an immense act of hypocrisy, were using captured and bred Seekerkin as gladiators in pit fights. Making a profit from the torment of innocents. Interceptor grit his denta, knowing that once the Seekers targeted the area, it would not take long for the ones involved to figure out whom the leak was. Interceptor was only one of a few who had access to the databank containing the information.

As he made preparations to meet with his fate, Interceptor could only pray that Prowl would not fall prey to the same weakness as he. Primus willing, his creation’s ignorance would serve to shield Prowl from Interceptor’s enemies.

The call to Vos went through, and Interceptor steeled himself against regrets as he summoned his kin to the rescue.

Short bit is short, but Interceptor is a mech of few words.

The itty-bitty kitty-committy countinues to be adorable. But now suffers from fleas. Will have to do something about that.
