“It worked!” The gleeful cackle preceded Starscream as he burst into their quarters. Skywarp teleported across the room on instinct, leaving a bewildered Thundercracker behind to be tackled and mauled by their clearly deranged wingleader, who was still shouting, “It worked!”
“Star?” Skywarp asked cautiously, “What worked?”
“The experimental fractal!” Starscream cackled again and nuzzled Thundercracker’s helm, “Eighty-three percent success rate!”
“That’s… good?” Thundercracker asked cautiously, darting a confused look at Skywarp.
On his part, Skywarp wore a look of dawning realization, “Really? It worked?”
“It worked!” Starscream confirmed, and was tackled in turn by a gleeful Skywarp.
“It worked!” Skywarp shouted in excitement, and wrapped his arms around Starscream’s waist, picking the other Seeker up and spinning in circles, “TC! Did you hear that? It worked!”
“Uh, yay?” Thundercracker said in a bemused tone as he watched his wingmates make utter fools of themselves, not quite able to shake the notion that he was missing something important.
“We have to tell the twins!” Skywarp babbled excitedly, pawing at Starscream’s chestplates, “And refit the crèche and set up an appointment with the matron and stock up on the special energon and-”
“Wait.” Thundercracker said, looking at Starscream in an obvious plea for an explanation, “What?”
“My experiment was a success.” Starscream said over Skywarp’s gleeful babbling, “You remember how I had us all scanned by the medics last megacycle? Well the results came back positive!”
“What? But that scan was for…” Thundercracker froze as realization dawned, “It worked?”
“It worked!” Starscream nodded, wings canting joyfully, “I’m carrying!”
“What?” Thundercracker was stunned, optics blinking slowly as his wingmates piled into him, “What?”
“I think we broke him Star.” Skywarp snickered, waving a hand in front of an unresponsive Thundercracker.
“Ah, well that’s what happens when a mech disrespects my genius.” Starscream said airily, patting Thundercracker’s arm gently and snickering when the blue Seeker just stared at him.
“A sparkling?” Thundercracker finally managed to ask, one arm curling around under Starscream’s wings, “We’re having a sparkling?”
“Yes Thunder, we’re having a sparkling.” Starscream chortled, still riding high on the euphoria of success, “The signal came out very clear on the scans. He’s a strong one, our winglet!”
“Our sparkling.” Thundercracker said reverently, nuzzling both of his trinemates, “… I’ll have to go over our budget.”
Skywarp just stared at his contemplative wingmate as Starscream choked on a laugh.
“… You do that.” Skywarp said at last, patting Thundercracker on the helm.
Thundercracker just stared at his amused wingmates, “… What?”

So, comments? Crit? Funny gammar issues? Lemme know. I'm getting closer to a big important backstory-reveal, so I want to make sure that no one is getting lost. ^_^
My baby sister and I spent the day together yesterday, had lunch, hit some of the summer sales at the mall, bought some shorts, then went to see "Revenge of the Fallen" last night. And woo! I got my wish for more mechs! My baby sister and I are both of the opinion that Starscream totally had the best lines, as demonstrated by the above entry title. Plus, my Seeker-fangirlism theories were totally supported by how concerned Starscream was for the "hatchlings." I won't say any more, because I don't want to spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it yet, but it was wonderful!
On the Dragon side of things, I'm pretty sure that I've got a Geode. The Stone egg isn't the normal colour. XD Plus, if anyone wants a Split, or any other types that I have, I'm willing to hand them out. Especially if you're willing to trade a Silver or Gold in return.
