Okay, I'm going to try something here. I'm going to ask my readers, few as they may be, to watch a 47 minute long animated video on monetary reform. So, for me, monetary reform becomes wrapped into environmental reform, particularly the pursuit of sustainability. Our environmental leaders also need to be (or be surrounded by) great economists, who can address the economic impact of mass societal change.

This is exactly the same conclusion I came to. It seems that what called for here, is a societal shift from comsumption to sustainability on all fronts.

It also occured to me that this is why I often here the argument that I shift towards environmental sustainability will harm the economy. If the theories present here are correct, our current economic system will take a big hit.

When I find another chunk of time, I'd like to watch this again. I definitely got overall message, but I'm still fuzzy on some of the specifics. I always struggle to understand economic/financial concepts.

Coming from a performing arts background, as we both do, means we get a pass when it comes to finance - it's generally expected we know nothing ( ... )
