Unexpected visitors! Chapter #4

Summary: Two girls are working in a small town outside of Taipei. One day they meet KAT-TUN.
Note: When Madeline and Veronica talks to each other they talk Swedish.

Chapter 4 ~ The Ride
In the meanwhile Madeline and Veronica went to their rooms to get changed and to wash up after their breakfast. Since it was a really warm day they didn’t want to bike in their long “free-day” pants so they changed to a pair of shorts and a skirt over and a blouse with short arms. Then they walked down to the reception to rent their bikes. They stood there when Jin and Koki came into the lobby of the hotel.
“Hey, what are you two up to?” Jin called out to the girls, waving his hands to get their attention.
“Hi, aren’t you working today?” Koki asks, doing the same as Jin.
Madeline and Veronica who just got their keys from the receptionist turned around and were kind of shocked when they saw that Jin and Koki came through the doors waving their hands to them.
“Hi!” both Madeline and Veronica greeted the boys.
“We’re off to day so we decided to go for a bicycle ride.” Madeline explained.
“Can we come along?” Jin quickly asked.
“Don’t you have to work on your music video?” Veronica said, still a little shocked that the two boys were there.
“Well, we’re off the rest of the day, so if you want to we can go for a ride together.” Jin answered.
“Sure, go get yourselves a bike and we’re of.” Madeline nodded towards the reception.
Then Koki got an idea that he knew Jin would like and hopped that the girls would like too “I know, can’t we sit two and two on the bikes?”
“That would be fun,” Jin said. “But it’s kind of hard to bike when you have someone else on the bike.” Jin then hit Koki light on the head.
“Oh…” Koki really didn’t think of that. But then he got another idea. “But what it we rent two motorbikes? That’s not hard to drive even if there are two people sitting on it.”
Jin then realized what kind of idea Koki got and said. “True,” then turned to the girls, “what do you think about that?”
“Okay, that’s cool with me.” Veronica smiled.
Madeline who was a bit whiter in the face than usual looked at the three of them. “Motorbikes…”
Koki who noticed this smiled reassuringly to Madeline “It’s okay, you can hold on to me a much as you want to.”
Madeline now started to get red I the face instead of white “Ano, okay then.”
So the boys took the keys to the normal bikes and went to the reception to switch it to motorbikes instead. And then the four of them were of. They drove north, away from the town and into the nature with Jin and Koki driving parallels with each other. The two girls were like day and night when it came to motorbikes. Veronica who had always liked motorbikes and felt kind of free in the high speed, was relaxed and just holding onto Jin’s sides with her hands to be able to feel the breeze. Madeline on the other hand was scared to death that anything would happen, so she was hugging Koki, like her life depended on it. Koki couldn’t complain about it, he liked to feel Madeline so close to him, which was the whole idea of renting motorbikes instead of normal bikes. Even though Veronica didn’t hug Jin in a ‘hug of death’ neither he could complain since he noticed that Veronica really liked the ride. After driving for one hour they stopped by a cliff.
Veronica got of the bike and looked worriedly at Madeline. “Are you okay, Madeline? You look pale.”
Madeline who just got of the bike seconds before felt little dizzy “I’m fine, I think.”
Veronica didn’t believe her though “Maybe you should take it easy.” then turned to Koki. “Tanaka-kun…” then got interrupted by the said person.
While waving his hands in front of him, Koki said “Please say Koki and Jin instead of Tanaka-kun and Akanishi-kun. You make me feel so old.”
Jin who was now laughing like hell just commented with “Yeah, Koki-kun is right.”
“Sorry,” Veronica apologised and then corrected herself, “Koki-kun, please take care of my friend while driving, will you.”
“Of course I will,” Koki smiled reassuringly to Veronica.
“Why don’t you two stay here for a while so you, Madeline, can calm down a bit?” Jin suggested.
“Okay,” Madeline answered.
“Come-on Veronica, I want to show you something,” Jin then quickly said.
And before Veronica could open her mouth to say something about that, Jin was literally dragging her all the way to the top of the cliff. Once at the top, Jin stopped and turned to face Veronica who was startled by the beautiful view.
“What do you think?” he asked.
“Wow… this is… wow!”
“I found this place yesterday when we were filming for the music video in this area.
Veronica turned to look at Jin. “It’s beautiful. It’s like in a fairytale or something.” Then turned back to the view.
Jin took Veronica’s hand and turned her to face him. “All I could think of yesterday when I was here was that I wanted to bring you here someday.”
Veronica who was a little surprised by Jin’s action and words said, “You did? Why? I mean, why with me?”
Jin, unsure how to take that comment, which Veronica could see in his eyes, let go off the hand. “Well… I don’t know. I just feel like you’re the one that I wanted to bring here.”
Veronica almost incoherently said mostly to herself, “This must be a dream.”
Jin who misunderstood the meaning of the words again asked. “Why do you think that? Is it really that horrible to be here with me?” he couldn’t help it. realising what he just said he turned away.
“No, not at all.” Veronica felt she had to make him see that he got it wrong and took his hand to turn him around to be able to look at him, then continued. “Actually it’s the other way around. I mean. This place is one of the kinds that you want to visit with the one you love and care about.” She started to blush a bit, “And I don’t know anyone else I want to visit this place with.” The blush was shining like hell on her cheeks by now. She let go of Jin’s hand.
Jin quickly took Veronica’s hand and took a step forward to close the distance between them and embraced her making her blush even more, if possible.
“Would you believe me if I told you that I like you?” he asked quietly.
Veronica was by now digging her face into Jin’s shoulder to hide her red face from him. “You don’t mean that right? You can have which girl you want, why choose me?”
Jin pulled away a bit to be able to look into Veronica’s eyes. When he saw the still red face, he gave her a reassuring smile.
“I do like you.” He held her cheek in his hand. “I don’t care if I can have anyone else. You’re the one I want to love for the rest of my life.”
And before Veronica could react and say something, Jin once again closed the distance, but this time he kissed her softly on the lips making her red face become even redder. Veronica who was startled by this looked into Jin’s eyes and was meet with sincerity and love, but Jin’s eyes also had a questioning look as he meet her eye’s, lips still attached to hers. When Veronica realized that he was real and that he told the truth, she returned the kiss, closed her eyes and swung her arms around his neck. This was after all everything she had ever wanted. When their lips separated they just hugged each other tight not willing to let go of the new found lover of theirs.
By the foot of the cliff another couple was standing by the motorbikes unable to say anything to the other one. Madeline who was starring at the ground didn’t notice that Koki had walked up to her and got startled when she saw the pair of sneakers in front of her own shoes and looked up.
“Sorry for scarring you,” Koki smiled.
“No not at all.”
“I guess Jin wanted to be alone with Veronica.” Koki commented nervously.
“Well, I don’t think Veronica have any complains to that.” Madeline smiled shyly.
“Do you?”
Madeline who got confused of that question said, “I’m happy for her. She’s been in love with Jin since she started to listen to KAT-TUN.”
Koki lightly blushed “I mean, do you have any complains about being alone with me?”
Madeline Started to blush when she realised what Koki asked her. “No. It’s nice to be able to meet you for real. You ARE my favourite after all.”
Koki got a bit more confident in him, “Would you be able to like your idol more than as an idol? Would you be able to love your idol?”
Madeline, a bit lost at the meaning of those words “Yeah, of course I would. I’m already in love with my idol.”
Koki, lost that confidence again thinking she meant someone else. “You love someone already?”
Madeline realized what she just told Koki. “I… eh… well.” A lot of blush in her face by now. “TheoneIloveisstandinginfrontofmeandI’mafraidthathedoesn’tlovemeback.”
“W…what did you just say?”
Madeline who was blushing like hell after realizing that she had confessed to Koki looked down once more to study the ground in front of her feet. “The-one-I-love-is-you.”
Koki got confidence enough from that to close the distance and pulled Madeline’s head up gently with his hand. “Thank you.” Then he kissed her on the lips, a kiss that soon was answered.
Koki hugged her after breaking the kiss and whispered into her ear. “I love you.”
The two couples were enjoying the time alone, one on top of the cliff and one by the foot of it, for a long while. When Jin and Veronica suddenly came down and joined Koki and Madeline to remind them that they might need something in their stomachs since they hadn’t been eating for many hours now.
“I’m hungry let’s find something to eat.” Jin said when he and Veronica came into area where they placed their motorbikes.
Koki got startled by the sound of his bandmate’s voice and turned to face the couple. “When did you two return? What time is it?”
“Just now. It’s four o’clock.” Veronica being the one to answer.
“Already?! Let’s go eat.” Madeline announced.
Jin just muttered quietly “I already sad that.”
Veronica was now trying to keep herself from laughing at her lover’s words and expression. “I know baka.”
Jin then pouted at Veronica. “I’m not a baka.”
“Yes you are Jin.” Veronica faced him with a smile and then kissed Jin on the cheek, whispering in Jin’s ear “but at least you’re my baka.”
This made Jin smile a bit when it reminded him that Veronica had accepted his confession and caught the girl in a tight embrace and let their lips meet in a quick but lovingly kiss.
“Jin, can you try to concentrate your mind on finding a place to eat?” Koki said to Jin then turned to the two girls and said, “I don’t know any good place around here, do you?”
“We can drive to Wanli township and eat there.” Madeline answered since she realised that neither Veronica or Jin would answer in the near future.
