Ohhh, dang. Can I sneak in anonymously? I'ma sneak in. Ooh, you got the flow, girl. You got that melting, merging quality that is inherently Naruto's and Gaara's--the elasticity of a bond, a similarity--that even when they're pulled some considerable distance, even over miles, the band snaps back and there they are. And it's delicious, and concise, and still so tense and shaky. You left the system whole, even when you broke it down, and darned it up with your own unique frills, it just...worked. And retaining that clumsy ignorance, the sharp drive and ache that just meshes them both, adding the touch of lust in a little bit cold and dangerous, and brash and fierce--Naruto and Gaara, respectively. Sweet. Ahh, meshing is a wonderful, wonderful thing. It's a high. I loved it, I really did. And Sasuke's a definite pull and weight. He is meaningful to Naruto. You haven't forgotten that. The all-around references to characters--individuals of Konoha. Naruto's friends...their little quirks, and highs and lows. Refreshing.

Ooh, they were so hard to capture. The problem with the Naruto fandom is that, especially with fanfiction, it is so difficult to actually write them because everything meaningful that could possibly be done has been done already--everything meaningful that could possibly said had been said. They overshadow everything. Ugh, the fandom pales in comparison to the cannon, which is so rare! Like Harry Potter, I read it for the fandom. Etc. But Naruto is so amazing >.<

:) I will later, probably. I want to see how this Sasuke Naruto thing develops from the latest chapter. It is positively murdering me.

No, seriously, my problem is that NaruGaa and SasuNaru conflicts in terrible places. Because I love NaruGaa to pieces, and I fic about them, I still can't drop Sasuke--yet you can fic about SasuNaru and drop Gaara. It's hard >.< It's like, they'll always be something keeping them apart.

And if I launch into something with a huge plot, it'll deviate from the cannon; there's not helping that because the series isn't finished yet. And I wouldn't want to write NaruGaa without the recent Kazekage chapters and it launches straight into the whole 'meeting with Orochimaru's contact' that there's no breathing room for this to happen.

I need to see what else happens with Gaara >.
