It should not surprise me that people seem so wholeheartedly set against gay marriage and adoption.

But it still does.

I am so pleased that the propositions regarding women's and young women's rights to their bodily health and autonomy didn't get the needed votes to pass. (And a giant Fuck You goes out to those who voted for these propositions

I'll supply that additional "fuck you" that you requested. I'm absolutely livid about all those hateful and discriminatory props that were passed. Please to be backing the fuck up off my rights, people!! Seriously, when did anyone in the government decide whether or not any other group of Americans could get married or adopt children? Why is it different because my partner is another woman? It's not like it makes us incompetent!! Argh. *twitch*
