I've just spent the past ten minutes scrolling through the past two weeks of LJ posts. For some odd reason, every time I read LJ I get sad. This time was no exception

I love that you remember more about this than I do. ;)
I met Jeremy in the summer of 2000 - I was really broken up over Thorsten going back to Germany and my cousin decided I needed someone to take my mind off of him. But when I went back to college it was someone else. I think Juan and I dated in 1999 but I can't be sure. It was the spring before Julie came into Cepheid. If Ebony was 2001, then Mike was 2001-2002, and Paul was the end of 2002. Maybe? I bet I've got all this stuff written down somewhere.
I've been typing up my decade in review too but it is taking me a long time. It is hard to remember all that stuff! In sum though 2000-2005 really sucked, and 2006-2009 were really good.
I was watching Across the Universe again the other day and wondering if you have seen it yet??!?!
Yeah you need to watch it asap! Go get it this weekend. It is awesome.
Eric's family has pretty much hijacked all of our January weekends already but February is open. The only thing I have is a UIL meet the morning of the 21st but that will be over before noon. What looks good for you?
The first weekend is John's birthday weekend, the second weekend is Valentines, but the rest of the month is pretty open. Would you rather do the Saturday of your meeting, or the last Saturday of the month? Also I will probably be by myself unless I can somehow trick John into coming with me.
*hug* you know something that I left out of my year in review? The amazing number of friends that I've made in the last ten years who are *still* my friends, not to mention the ones I'd met before then in the 90s with whom I am still friends. That's definitely a blessing. :)
Hard to believe it's been that damn long - another 10 years out of Aggieland. (and I think I have a few weeks on you as far as no LJ posts - why the hell would I burden others with my problems?)
Isn't burdening others with our problems the entire reason that LiveJournal was created? Seriously though, I completely understand. Plus, back in college it just seemed like I had so much more time to do stuff like play around on the net for hours.

You know, I have not seen Across The Universe yet but damn I need to get around to it. Several people have recommended it to me.
Also, you need to let me know what weekends you have free. I need to meet your kid before he's talking.

Sorry for the abrupt end of the conversation last night - I had to give the check out girl a stern talking to for charging me the wrong amount.

Anyway, glad things are looking up.
