So in three days it'll have been two years since I filed for divorce. So much has happened since then that it feels like that life belonged to some other girl. Like it was a story I read about. I am very glad that I did it though. Chris and I are *so* much better off this way. I know that I'm happier, and from what I can tell, he is too. Yay ( Read more... )

That's true. It's nice to know that I have something to sustain me through the rough patch of unemployment, should that occur.

Hang in there. See what you can do to keep the job - this isn't the best time to be job hunting.

I've been a bit of a lurker lately, if you hadn't picked up on that. I think I'm trying to avoid some of that nostalgia you encountered. definitely miss those days.

Interesting choice off literature. I haven't read Nexus books; not sure if I want to. I have some favorite authors I usually rely on.

Anyway, drop me a line sme time. I miss you too.

I looooooove Nexus. They publish such outlandishly crazy things, and really, those are my favorite to read. Right now I'm reading "Instilling Obedience" which isn't Nexus, but was the next thing on the shelf. I'm only up to chapter four and it's...it's actually making me a little uncomfortable, since it's dealing with a 60 something year old guy and an 18 year old girl, and at the moment she's not a willing participant.

I was kind of in a lull between books, so I am going through erotica for a bit until I feel like reading something else.

I'll try to send you an email - I'm not too big on the phone right now. It *is* good to hear from you though!

Is that an ongoing series? I'm a very impatient person and after Harry Potter and Claymore, I try to not start stuff until it's finished. It does look interesting though.

I have finished reading smut at the moment, and have started on The Girl Who Loved Tom Gorden by Stephen King. After that I'm thinking of finally tackling the unabridged version of The Stand.

Been missing you around here. Good to hear from you and to hear that things are going well. :) Sorry about your garden. Hopefully you can try again next year with better results. :)

I've been missing you too, and College Station. I wonder if I can finagle a visit some Saturday before the holidays start up. What does your schedule look like?

Tomorrow's busy, the first two weekends of October are busy, September's pretty clear so far...

October is completely booked already, but so far as I know September is empty for me as well. How'd you like to entertain me for an afternoon, say, Sept 12 or 19?
