Sunday I am moving to a new apartment. I am extremely happy. I very often feel uneasy where I am now because I have a crazy paranoid landlady. One idea that this isn't the right place to live is that I avoid going into the kitchen because I might run into her and have to talk to her or listen to her inane whispering that she does to herself. I was listening to NPR the other day and they were talking to a person who put together an album of bassa nova-style covers of new wave songs (apparently "bassa nova" translates to "new wave"). Anyway, the cover of "love will tear us apart again" was rad.

you forgot to mention another reason that you want to move out is because she has 4 cats and no litter box and the cat pee smell that permeates the house. and how apparently they ran out of white paint at the store so she had to paint one of your walls green.
