Ah~ the finale of Zeni Geba is out! The series is rather short at only 9 episodes. This was the only one of this season's drama that I've been faithfully watching.. and at times desperately waiting for each week (because of the tense cliffhangers at the end of each episode). I kinda stopped watching Q.E.D but I think I'll finish it eventually out

zeni geba has been "the most anticipated drama to watch" for me too. i wasn't expecting much when i first heard about it, but kenichi's acting really blows me away in this. it's a shame most people probably won't watch it though b/c it's very dark and there isn't really a "good guy" to root for. i can't wait to watch the final episode =D

It's definitely not a drama for everyone, I can imagine. This kind of darkness can be easily seen in Japanese movies but is quite rare in dramas.. I wonder why. The scene where he threw money from on top of the roof was really powerful for me.. I hope he wins an award or something.

Any other drama this season that you like?

he definitely should win an award. i'm sure not many drama actors would even want to touch playing this character. xD the only other drama i'm really enjoying is love shuffle. the concept is different and they take time to get to know the depths of each character. i'm only around episode 4-5 though, but so far so good. i've heard triangle is pretty good, but i don't really have the patience right now to watch a more slow paced drama.

I have only 2 eps left of Zeni Geba :) Beside Arifureta Kiseki it is the one I enjoy watching so far :)

Btw Q.E.D got better after ep5 or so :P I finished this yesterday btw :P

The ratings for Arifureta Kiseki is very consistent each week. I wonder if I'll like it. Did you try Love Shuffle? I'm thinking of trying it because the mix of cast seem interesting..

It did? I hope the ending's good. Any kissing scene? :P

Arifureta kiseki is pretty laid back. I think you'll like it :)
Didn't watch Love Shuffle so far, but heard good things about it.

No there is no kissing scene in Q.E.D. :P

This drama really sounds interesting, and I'd like to see Kenichi in a new role, but I just can't handle sad dramas D: I didn't watch even 1LOT through. But if this is different type of sadness... I really liked the Butterfly effect though. Maybe I'll check it out at some point :D

Sorry for being so vague with the review. Kenichi plays a bad guy in this drama.

The Butterfly Effect part is just my opinion, not sure if other people would make this conclusion too. There's just a little of it that I saw towards the end of the series.

It's won't make you cry a whole bucket like 1LoT type of sadness but more like.. 'some circumstances and bad luck can drive a good person to become so bad'.. bah, it's so hard to explain.
