Came here from Tumblr. I have to agree with you on EVERYTHING. Sadly I think Natalie Portman is thinly disguised as a 'plot device' to change Thor from a huge douchebag into the hero he turned out to be. Somehow I feel that if he hadn't been found by Jane Foster &Co., Thor would have stayed the same, Loki would have stayed a king and slayed the Frost Giants and wouldn't have...you know...felt so brokenhearted by the end of it all.

AND JEREMY RENNER AS HAWKEYE. It was hard for me not to squee in my seat when I saw him.

On Tom Hiddleston: His "TELL MEEEEEEE!!!" to Odin still rings in my mind until this day. The frustration, I can feel it. And the devastation in hie eyes when Odin said 'No,' in the end, before Loki let go of his grip. All he wanted was love and appreciation, and having a douchebag for a brother (who would be king) didn't help. No offence to Thor but I would have done the same thing Loki did if Thor hadn't changed.

This has been a long ramble. Sorry. T___T

I didn't really want to see this movie, so I've read your whole post, and GOD, I want to see it now, because he sounds like my kind of villain. :)

Thanks! :D

Girl, I had a sentence up in this post and I erased it because I'd think people would think me mad, and it ran a little like this:

Writing this, it suddenly reminds me greatly of Darken Rahl. He's also the flawed villain who thinks he's doing the right thing, but is instead doing terrible things. Also through circumstances from birth to sibling rivalry to getting older.

I kid you not :D You should totally watch it :) You're welcome :D That's amazing :D

There's nothing mad in that. Your description already sounded like him, especially when you mentioned "for the greater good" :))
Actually I half want to and half scared to see him, because I can't let my Muse fall for ANOTHER villain, while she should be busy playing with Snatchers. Ah, the worries of a fangirl! :D

haha well all I can say is: Tom's a good man to be a fan of, trust me ;) and one can never have too many addictions :D (even though I know real life might disagree ;))
