Benedict on the rumour that Sherlock might not be filmed this year because Martin's in The Hobbit:

Odd eh :S Even more so because in the chat on Monday he said they were shooting in the spring. And Sue was there as well. She would have not have typed that if that were bull LOL

Well, I don't know. I mean, I assume they know that they are going to film some time next year for their autumn airing but I don't think they know when? Maybe they need to wait until they get the schedule for The Hobbit. Which is kind of unreasonable as he had signed the contract for season 2 of Sherlock first.

Ben said spring, so I'm holding on to that for now, but it is odd because I thought The Hobbit would start in Feb and I assume that will take longer than just three months. It being two movies and all and Martin being in almost every scene you'd think :S I kinda got the impression the producers/writers/BBC are helping Martin out in this one and working around his schedule. Now we can only hope Ben won't land another big one :S Oh how wrong that sounds :(
