New telly shows

Thanks to everyone who responded to and read my outcry two days ago. Sometimes I just need to write it all down in one go and it really helped to see all your messages, thoughts and hugs :) <3

On to a happier note I thought I'd post trailers of two shows I'm really looking forward to. I'm not sure if they will be the best thing on tv ever, but there ( Read more... )

I have.

After someone dies: "Sometimes I wish I was wrong." No, Sherlock, you don't. *shrugs*

You know, as cringeworthy as it was to watch it as a Sherlock Holmes fan, I did quite enjoy JLM in it. I just wish they'd gone for a different brand. I just makes no sense to me whatsoever that this is supposed to be Holmesian and that trailer I watched definitely wasn't Sherlock Holmes.

But dammit I did get curious.. not because of Sherlock, but just because I like crime shows and his character seemed fun. No Holmes, but fun nonetheless.

I hate myself for saying it.. Thankfully fandom seems quite open about it. At least about people wanting to see it, not so much about the show LOL

What did you think?

Same here!!

I was rather pissed at JLM taking on the role, especially when I got the impression Benedict wasn't too happy with it, but now I've seen it, I can understand why he wanted the role. He has all the best lines.

But yeah, I feel exactly the same.

Oooh both of these look intriguing! I particularly like the look of the first one, as I'm a fan of both Michael Shanks and Erica Durance.

I loved Erica in the few episodes I saw of her in Smallville :D So yeah, I'm really curious about it too :)

I used to have a professor at university who looked just like Michael Shanks and I think he wanted to become a writer, but ended up teaching literature instead. Obviously, I went to all his classes. :)

My DVR is set to record Saving Hope. Sadly, Continuum is only showing in Canada right now. :( Maybe it will show up on SyFy one day.

Yeah I noticed that later. I never know when or where things air, as the shows I watch never make it to Dutch telly anyway, so I'm left to downloading everything anyway :)
