NiN isn't really my thing, however if there's a paticular style or type of music that you really dig let me know and I can find something similar for you.

I never leave the house without my headphones for a reason.

I've never listened much to NiN, but it's a good sign to see more and more bands are getting with the new ideas and abandoning the obsolete ones.
This one was rather nice, though. It's a keeper.

I generally like most intelligent music, secondly emotional, although not angsty/emo.
I mostly like Electronica, trance and d&b, and especially Industrial/Synth which I find both highly intelligent and quite emotional, but I have also recently been gravitating towards more melodious punk, like System of a Down, and some celtic and gaelic stuff like Flogging Molly, Real McKenzies and Dropkick Murphys.
I generally avoid pop music and hip hop that is like "Yo, bitches and bling and shit!", because it's pretty stupid.
However, I am currently downloading Braintax and looking for The Coup and other meaningful music like that.

To be honest, I really dislike female singers with hissing voices.
Frou frou and Björk, for example, just makes me crazy.
The melody itself was quite good although kind of bland; It didn't really 'pop'.

Wow, thanks. That's some nice stuff.
I gave it a cursory listen and it seems like I will enjoy it.
Like, Japanese goth, that's so awesome :D
And some D&B stuff, and some other really unusual and weird stuff.
I love that. :)

so for you I'll stick with more rock orientated stuff, because I know that you're not a heavy tech guy.

give me a minute and I'll try figuring out a perfect album to send.
