Anyone else order the collector's edition? I just received mine today, and I'm quite happy with it. I also bought the $8 regular edition as a reading copy, but unfortunately that hasn't come yet. :[

I have to wait until Christmas at least though.
It's on my list so I can't buy it in case somebody else does = /

Sorry it took me so long to respond, I totally forgot that I posted this. :X I'm quite happy with the Collector's Edition, though I have heard some negative reactions. Amazon could probably do a better job describing it than I could. :]

i've got the collector's edition, but I'm a bit disappointed. I'd rather it was larger to be honest. I know one shouldn't read in the collectors edition, but the actual book is just so small!!!
Why make the "box" so large... I feel like most my money has gone in the box, and not in the book...

But JKR's hand-made originals were pretty small as well, weren't they? I think they're about the same size. The only criticisms I have are the metal bits around the edges and the 'jewels' - they both seem a bit on the cheap side. But all in all, I'm ecstatic. :]

I ordered it from Amazon.uk. It means I'll be a bit later getting my copy, but I actually saved about $15 even with the shipping costs, thanks to the current rate exchange.

And my Super Stop & Shop had copies of the regular edition, so I snagged that as a reading copy.

You dang Brits. ;] I bought the cheap copy as a reading copy, but the binding is so tight I've actually been hesitant to even read that! haha But I will read it once I get a little more time.
