Dear anyone and everyone familiar with Mozart, The Magic Flute, and the Queen of the Night aria, maskednicci especially.
Do you think Mozart is turning in his grave at this, or does he appreciate someone making him accesible to the average idiotic teen ( Read more... )

Dear Sandra,

lighten up XD How is that possibly bad? Its amazing what they did with those lights. I'm totally sure Mozart was like "HOW DARE PEOPLE DO CREATIVE AMUSING THINGS WITH MY MUSIC." He's probably like "LOL. SHINY LIGHTS."

You need to e-mail me your mail adress up there so I can send you old navy discount cards XD

Oh, the lights are awesome, I meant the rockifying of the QotN aria. I totally love it, as I said, I'm going to the concert. And it's on my ipod now. And I actually bought it legally, off itunes. Amazing, huh?
I emailed you. Make sure to reply!

Oh, I love it!! And I'd like to think Mozart was a totally cool and fun sort of guy. I mean "The Magic Flute"? Come on, he must've had a sense of humor.

I loved that vid, though the flashy lights made my brain spazz a bit.

(TSO? Omg, you're a Torontonian? *bounces*)

Torontonian? Don't think so, it's Trans Siberian Orchestra. But I have a very good friend who is... (I believe. We're talking about living in Toronto, right?)
Mozart probably was awesome. Have you seen The Magic Flute? You should. Anyone who could have that much fun pissing off talented singers because it's too hard for them has to be awesome. hehe

Awwww, darn. :P And yes, Toronto, where I grew up actually. ;) I got excited cuz TSO is also short for Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

I've seen the Magic Flute yes. Actually, lol, I'm a classically trained pianist, and I've been a big opera buff since I was a teen. Though I really can't afford to go out to see the operas anymore, thank goodness for cable.

*laughs* I like it! It's fun to see the new and inventive ways people are combining rock and opera. Of course, it's great that it'll reach more people, but fortunately, it still has that Magic Flute....well...magic! I've seen people 'rockify' things horribly, but this is fun!

My family doesn't believe me when I say Mozart is fun. They look at me like I have Papageno himself coming out of my nose, full costume. lol

Thanks for posting this. I probably would never have found it!

Epgt:....today.

*smack*

mn: Question! How can I get it on my mp3? I know how to get just sound files, but this has a video on it, too! Tell me, my liege! So I may learn, and carry this song around with me, to shove my mp3 earpiece in people's ear, and show them what REAL rock opera is all about! (and maybe, just MAYBE, get them interested in the Magic Flute! Yays!)
