Also, this past season of Supernatural didn't inspire as much as past seasons. But I still love the Show and will be watching Season 8 with eagerness.

Oooh! Awesome! Looking forward to reading it - I haven't read Three Strikes so I've downloaded a copy from A03 (love that site!).

OMG - 300k in one year?? You're amazing!

I'm glad. It feels good that even though I've been MIA for a while folks still want to read the story.

Burnout happens to all of us. I'm looking forward to this one, but I hate to see an end to the verse. I'll be there on the 7th, waiting!

That's lovely to hear. It feels good to know that after the effort folks are enjoying it. It's the best, actually.

The best, what? Best, in that people are enjoying it? Best, in that you like this verse the most, or best in that this fic is the best one of the verse? Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to it. It's been a while since I worked my way through your fics, so I'll probably need to reread this verse before reading your new fic. It's all good!

I meant that it is really wonderful to hear that someone is looking forward to the story. That's the part that is best. When I go a long time between posting a story then, of course, feedback trickles as well. And the lovely reinforcement I get when someone really likes something goes away as well. So I think it's self-fueling, if you see what I mean. I write less, get less feedback, write less ... rinse and repeat.

It doesn't matter how much you write--rest assured whatever you write will be eagerly read!

I think everyone goes through a slowdown--I read everything under the sun for a long time, but now I tend to be less patient if the story has problems.

Thanks. I hope I did my boys justice in this final installment of the verse.
